I think it cost twice as much as it’s capabilities were worth though, but I attribute much of that to the chip shortage. But I doubt this review will be around for me to update. Ultimately, if the computer remains trouble free and relevant the for the 10 or so years I keep it, I’ll be happy.
Who’d a thought that would be necessary in this age of plug and play. FYI if your z8 computer boots up with a blank dark screen and you know it’s on and properly connected, try turning the monitor off then back on. Fortunately, the problem turned out to be very minor and a little searching on the internet got me enough info to push past it. Sales support was nonexistent and technical support proved impossible. While my computer works great, the out-of-the-box experience was disappointing.
I’m use to great customer support and a near perfect out-of-the-box experience.
I’ve been exclusively an hp fan since about 2005.
